Join us beginning Sunday, August 22nd for a journey to discover God's perspective on our possessions. We all struggle to balance the needs of spending with the demands of saving. Most of us feel guilty about our giving, or lack thereof. Frankly, we'd like to increase our spending, saving and giving all at once! Yet, resources are limited and the demands on us are almost unlimited. This causes much stress and anxiety. Why does money have to be such a stressful part of our lives?  Please see the video regarding this struggle with money and possessions under the Media and Resources tab.

Yet God has a solution and plan. In the resources of the gospel, there is an entirely different way of viewing our money. But the change has to begin with the inside, because money itself is a window into the human heart. Join us as we seek to learn God's transformational perspective on our possessions.  Please see the video regarding a plan for discipleship on the topic of possessions under the Media and Resources tab. 

This series will include two major components, plus some additional events. The first major component is an 8 week sermon series. These sermons will survey what the Bible has to say about our possessions. The second major compoment of this series is a 13 week study by Dave Ramsey called "Financial Peace University" (FPU). FPU is going to teach you how to apply the sermons in your life in very specific and concrete ways.  (Please see the below schedule for one of four "Free Preview Dates" as well as the dates and times for the four upcoming FPU classes being offered.)  Childcare is available for each of the FPU sections, however, you must register for both FPU and childcare ahead of time.  The cost for FPU is $100, however, don't let money be the reason not to take the class.  We can work with you on the cost as well as we have scholarships available through our Mercy Fund.  Our prayer is that both the sermon series and FPU will give you hope when it comes to the areas of money and possessions.

This series is for everyone. Whether you're over your head in debt or sitting on top of great riches, God's Word has something to teach you in regards to your heart, soul and money. So do join us for this important church-wide discipleship effort.
