Ministry
Overview
Jesus said,
"Let the little children come to Me. Do not forbid them, for the kingdom
of heaven belongs to just such as they are." Then Jesus took them in His arms, and laid
His hands on their heads and blessed them" (Matthew 19:14-15)
Children are important to Jesus. The Bible
begins with the family as the central social context of human life and a chief
means of God’s communication with human beings.
The family has been said to be a “formation center for human
relationships”. And that it is – but it
is also a formation center for spiritual development and a relationship with
the triune God of the Scriptures.
Our mission
is to come along aside the parents of Trinity to assist in equipping our children
to grow in faith toward Christian maturity.
In light of this, we offer a variety of programs and ministries for our
covenant body to work beside one another to encourage and equip our children in
the faith of Jesus Christ.
Below are the details
of our ministry to children ages 4 through 6th grade.
Sunday
School (9:00 am-10 am)
· Is
a teaching time that presents Bible content and the essentials of the faith for
knowledge, growth and understanding. We use Great Commission Publications
Sunday school material. If you would like an overview, details can be

Celebration
Chapel (ages 4 through 1st grade)
· A
special worship and learning service for our children during the Sunday Morning
worship service that prepares each child for worship in the corporate body.
Celebration Chapel is a time of praise! A time of prayer! A time of
thanksgiving! A time of celebration!
Children are
dismissed before the preaching time during the service. See more detail under “Worship” at the top.
Explorer/Prime
Time Kids
· This
is a special time for kids to explore the Bible, play games, sing songs, make
crafts, and make new friends. This ministry meets Wednesday nights during
the school year. Explorer Kids is for kids ages 4-4th grade. Prime
Time Kids is for 5th and 6th graders.
Joyful Noises Children's Choir (2nd-6th Grades)
Meets on Wednesday evenings during the school year at 5:30-6:30 PM in the Church Choir Room. Directed by Bob Gehman, “The Joyful Noises” is dedicated to combining the fun of learning music and singing together with the joy of serving God with our voices.
VBS
· Is
an exciting week-long summer outreach event for children in the community and
in our own church body for ages kindergarten through fifth grade. The
week is filled with skits, memory verses, crafts, games, Bible stories and fun
for the whole family.
