Welcome to Trinity and to our website!
Trinity Presbyterian Church believes in the good news (or “gospel”) of salvation by faith in Christ Jesus. We believe that this gospel, when lived out, has life-changing power for individuals and communities. God is about the business of redeeming lives and people for His glory and our joy. It is our conviction that the same gospel that saves us also calls and enables us to live new lifestyles of
worship
,
community
and
mission
. We are not perfect people by any means. But we are people who have received much grace and love from God through Christ. We invite you to come and be part of our gospel community!
Trinity Presbyterian Church believes in the historic Christian faith and embraces those ancient summaries of our faith such as the Apostles’, Nicene and Athanasian Creeds. We are also committed to what is known as the Reformed, Presbyterian and Covenantal theological tradition through our subscription to the Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms, summary documents produced by a large group of top pastor-scholars in the 17th century at Westminster Abbey in London. We believe that it contains a very helpful and concise summary of Christian belief, though the Scriptures alone are our final authority in all matters of belief and practice. We are affiliated with the North Texas Presbytery of the
Presbyterian Church in America
(PCA).
