Small Groups
Small groups are a vital part of Trinity, and, we believe, a vital part of each believer’s growth in Christ. George Whitefield was at the heart of helping foster the Great Awakening in America in the early 1700’s. From those remarkable days of spiritual growth, this is what he observed:
“If we look into church history we shall find that as the power of God prevails Christian societies and fellowship meetings prevail proportionately. My brethren, let us plainly and freely tell one another what God has done for our souls. To this end you would do well, as others have done, to form yourselves into little companies of four or five each and meet once a week to tell each other what is in your hearts, that you may then also pray for and comfort each other as need shall require. None but those who have experienced it can tell you the unspeakable advantage of such a union and communion of souls. And none that I think truly loves his own soul, and his brethren as himself, will be shy of opening his heart in order to have the advice, reproof, admonition and prayers of his brethren. A sincere person will esteem that one of the greatest blessings.”
Small groups are nothing new. And they are so important for our spiritual formation. For hundreds of years, Christians have found that the Biblical pattern really works, and the Biblical pattern is for Christians to gather together, as they did in the book of Acts, from house to house in small groups and seek for the power of the Gospel to be unleashed in their lives as they committed themselves to mutual ministry.

Ackerman – Plano
Meets the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month at Les and Linda Ackerman’s home. Contact the church office for more information.
Bowser/Parmar – Frisco/Plano
Meets the 1st and 3rd Fridays at 7:00 p.m. at Ron and Roxanne Bowser’s home. Contact the church office for more information. Childcare provided.
Gorman - SE Plano
Meets the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Call the church office for more information. Childcare provided.
Kern – Plano/Frisco
Meets the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month at 630 p.m. at the church. Childcare is provided. Call the church office for more information.
Brantz/Lindsey – Plano
Meets the 2nd and 4th Sundays at 6:30 p.m. at Gary and Becky Brantz’s home. Call the church office for more information.
Gabriel – Plano
Meets once a month on Saturdays, usually about 6:30 p.m. Call the church office for more information.
Stone – NW Frisco
Meets the 2nd Friday and the 4th Saturday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Childcare provided.
Freeman – NW Frisco
