ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE

Who:  Anyone who would like to learn English as a second language is welcome!

Where:  Trinity Presbyterian Church, 4701 Hedgcoxe Road, Plano (at the corner of Hedgcoxe and Ohio, Plano)  Phone:  972.335.3844

When do classes meet?  Monday night, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. OR Thursday night, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.

Dates:  Classes begin on September 12.  Classes end on May 10, 2012.

Classes Offered:

Beginners – For those who speak little or no English.

Intermediate – For those who know enough English to “get by”.

Advanced – For those who want to improve their pronunciation and accent to feel more comfortable conversing at work, at school, and in the community.

Cost:  All classes are free.  Students will be asked to purchase a set of books for $25.

Teachers:  All teachers are unpaid volunteers who have been trained to help you learn to speak better English.

We regret that childcare (babysitting) is not provided.

To register for classes:  Attend an informational meeting on Monday, August 29 at 7:00 p.m. OR Thursday, September 1 at 7:00 p.m. at Trinity Presbyterian Church.
