LUKE – The Gospel of Amazement
Beginning Sunday February 5th, we will begin a new major sermon series on the Gospel according to Luke. Michael Card has rightly called Luke “the Gospel of Amazement.”
Luke is indeed the “Gospel of Amazement” for both skeptic and believer alike. And who doesn’t need to have a fresh experience of the Savior in their life today? Our goal in this series is to be a people who have more than correct “theological notions”, but have, as J.I. Packer said, “fellowship with the Lord Jesus in person.” We want to know Jesus. We want to have communion with Him – and, through Christ, with the Father and the Spirit.
