The Adult Bible Fellowship offers a variety of classes each semester. The current classes are:
- LIVING AS THE KINGS PEOPLE – A STUDY OF THE SERMON ON THE MOUNT, Beginning January 8th: Daniel Doriani has said, “Among Jesus’ teachings, the Sermon on the Mount is perhaps the most beloved, the best known, the least understood, and the hardest to obey.” As we study this great section of Scripture we will explore Christ’s ideal of living as the King’s people in a fallen world. Taught by Rev. Patrick Poteet in Room 130
- BOOT CAMP TO SURVIVE THE COLLEGE YEARS – Beginning Sunday January 15th: The world of higher education constitutes a fascinating environment to learn, discover and mature as a person. However, the same setting can become challenging for Christian students. Most professors are critical if not hostile to the Christian worldview and its values. Should then parents and future students fear the college years? In this class we will explore strategies to spiritually and intellectually prepare future college students to confront the realities of academia. Taught by Fabrice Jotterand in Room 230
- College and Career Class - THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO JOHN: John’s gospel was written by the disciple “whom Jesus loved” from Ephesus around AD 80 – 90, about 50 years after he witnessed Jesus’ earthly ministry. John’s gospel is the only one of the four gospels that states the author’s purpose. He writes, “these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.” Join us as we seek to know and believe that Jesus is the Christ as He is presented in John’s account. Taught by Trey Kirkpatrick and Graham Eubanks in the Youth Room.
